If my aunt (my mothers sister) married some guy who is now my uncle...what relation would my uncles brother's kids have to me? any?

none, it's not even considered cousins and if it's your new uncles brother's kids then why do you even care? they aren't even related to you in the least!

there is only a distant relation by marriage but it probably wouldn't be a good idea to date them or anything it could still cause problems in the family for you mom and aunt. that is just my advice from experiance

in the adventure that your theory 'close and intimate kin family' is agreed, then there would be no distinction between human beings and animals. The meanings of 'close', 'intimate', 'kin', and 'family' are thoroughly misplaced. while the actual meaning of happiness is theory, such mind-blowing and undesirable thoughts does not crop up in our minds.
