He almost got married at 22, is that a red flag? Should that scare me off by telling me he's a settler?

Frankly I don't think anyone should marry that young. Most people don't even know who they really are until about 26 or so.
If you haven't walked around the forest how do you know which tree really suits you. And no it doesn't mean you have to sample all the fruits either.

What's wrong with that?I knew a guy that got married at 18 and i give him all the support.Fail marriage in young people are due to lack of support from family and people surrounding them.

I think that means he thought he was truly in love, and wanted to spend the rest of his life with that one lady. Red flag? No, normal man who was in love, or thought he was! At least you know the guy has a heart he's willing to share someday!

like what do you mean by settler? he would just marry you because he wants to be married to anyone or he would encourage you to get married early on and become very attached? or both?

No. That's too little info to go on. Plus, you said almost. He didn't marry, right? Anyway, if you have concerns based on that teeny weeny bit of info., maybe you're not ready for a relationship with him.

no maybe he really loved her and thought she was the one. (that should worry you because you might never be able to fill her shoes) Just talk to him about it
