How could multinational diplomacy help and/or harm US interests?

Well it's pretty much like this, when a person is in charge and all of a sudden the ppl he or she is in charge of vote to change the structure of leadership to a board versus one person in charge, the interests of that one person is charge will obviously be changed. He or she would no longer have complete, ultimate power to do whatever he or she wanted whenever he or she wanted.
