Depends on you financial situation. And if you are doing it for the right reasons. If it is just because you feel you have no opportunity for advancement in your current situation, go for it. But if it is to run away from something, not a good idea. If you keep packing up and moving away every time you face a problem, you will eventually not find anywhere else to run.

I would have to say go for it! When my husband and I got married we moved several times. Be the time we had been married for only 2 years, we had already lived in 5 different states. We would literally pick a few places we would like to go and flip a quarter to see which one to get the map out for. I could have our entire house packed up in a day (and yes, we had/have a lot of stuff) and be on the road the next morning. We moved without a plan, usually with barely any money, nowhere to live when we got there, no jobs, etc. It was SO much fun, but it is HARD. We ended up sleeping in our truck/car more than a few times. Sneaking in to truck stops to take showers. After a few days we would both have jobs and by the time we got our first paycheck we would have a place to live lined up. If you aren't adventurous, you had better plan very carefully, but otherwise...have fun. If you decide to just go for it without much of a plan....take a tent, there are campgrounds everywhere, and take a cooler with several days worth of food/drinks. It was hard, but I wouldn't have traded those days for any amount of money. Wouldn't mind doing it again.
BTW...we weren't running from anything or hiding from anything. We both just had places we wanted to visit, things we wanted to see and do, so we did it while we were still young and had the chance.

No. I always think it's better to stay and make a bad situation work than to run off every time trouble surfaces. More room for personal growth that way. Break the cycle!

I wouldn't move to Michigan if I were you. Granholm (the Gov) loves to keep raising property taxes, drive businesses out of state, and raise gas, ciggarette, and alcohol taxes. If you DO live in Michigan, then yes, I would move to another state.

If I could I'd move to Hawaii, but I can't. If you have no ties holding you back and you are convinced a new place is truly what you want, then find a job and go for it! I've always wanted to live in a warm climate and I hate winter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Running away does not help. If you run you will run for the rest of your life, I certainly do not think that this is a good idea. you have not said what has hapened but it is nothard to imagine.

Learn to tackle issues until they are resolved or they cannot be resolved

Well, it would depend on your reason for moving.
better job? etc.
If you are moving to get away from your problems.....don't think that is a good idea. Unless, you do not have to tell anyone.

I cant imagine it would be a bad idea as long as you have a good reason and a plan.
