I'd like to know what is so alluring about Uggs? Do people actually like them or are they just wearing them because that's what some celebrities wear? They serve no purpose, why don't you just wear socks outside...right? I mean, even after you put the waterproofing crap on they still get wet and so do your feet, as I've read. So what's the big deal about them?

big deal celeb's made it loks fashionable to wear eskimo geer in the hot summer months
to me u look like u stole a polar bear's feet and made slippers out of them ..
not in to that fad stuff
i like stuff that is going be classic styles for years to come

coming from the land of down under.. we wear ugg boots
and moccassins everywhere.. and i mean not those cute
lil slippers that you see the celebs where but the ugly looking
ones.. however. I love ugg boots.. their comfy and keep ur feet
warm. As a matter of fact im actually wearing mine at the moment
We dont wear them as a fashion statement.. but rather for
comfort.. wen we go down the shops to get bread or milk..
we couldnt be bothered putting on socks and shoes.. so why
not just stick to the ones we got on our feet.

I've seen them in stores, or maybe just look-alikes, and I kind of like how they look... I don't have them or anything, though. I'm not planning to, either.
I didn't know celebrities wore them, but I suppose that would explain why more than one person has mentioned them on Answers.
It's either a matter of personal preference (maybe the person thinks they look nice, that they're comfy because they don't have a lot of rain where they live--all a matter of personal opinion) or they just like wearing what the celebs wear...
I guess that's what would be the two big deals about them.

To be honest I have been a huge Ugg fan for years and my feet never get wet. The mold to your foot so they are really comfortable and my feet usually sweat a lot but not in these boots. Its strange considering then are boots. They are just comfortable to run around in and not have to wear regular shoes. I definetly could care less about the Fashion crave. I just like the feel of Shearling.

I don't like the big tall uggs, but they are very cozy and comfortable. I have a few pairs of ugg slippers which I wear everywhere. They're basically normal suede moccasins with tons of fur on the inside. I don't think there are ugly at all, but I agree -- I don't understand how on earth some of their products sell.

Uggs could serve a useful purpose...in Siberia. Whoever thought it was a good idea to wear wool lined boots on the beaches of Florida and California and call it stylish needs to be smacked.

uggs r b-e-a-utiful lol, hmm, nicely... once you've extra mild wash jeans bypass with chestnut once you've mild wash skirts and darkish wash jeans bypass with choco brown both one is really lovable in spite of the actuality that (reliable possibilities) in case you get one over the different and discover it isnt as lovable, go back them for the different color. or possibly, it can ward off money (or positioned an "UGG" fund at the same time and keep money to get both!) i understand, corny, yet I heavily did an "UGG" fund, I only kept putting like 10 or 20 funds in a jar and intensely straight away i have been given new lovable uggs!

are you living in sunny california or florida? well i'm from new york and the winter can be harsh sometimes in here. ugg doesn't serve any fashion purposes to me. i just wear them in the winter because i've own a pair of ugg's since i was 8 and they help to keep my feet warm, plus they actually don't look bad on me. :]

At first I thought they were ugly and called UGGS for a reason. Then I tried them on one day and I was hooked, they are soooo comfy.

ooh! theyre soft and luxurious on the inside and cute and trendy on the outside! and i dont think ive seen any celebrities wearing them, but there probably are a few that do, i just wear them, bcuz theyre cute and comfy!
