1) You don't have to have anyone walk you down the isle...
2) I was at a wedding and her father was living and she had her brother and neise walk her
3) Your bestfriend
4) Your favorite pet
5) The flower girl

I think its up to you. My parents had a friend that was getting married and my dad walked her down the aisle. Its whoever you want.

Whoever she chooses. It could be a good guy friend, or a distance relative, or she can even walk down there by herself. There's no law saying it has to be her father.

I have no family,I would have one of my partner's family to walk me down the aisle.Or his brother,or a male friend.

Anyone that she wants.Like,,a brother,,uncle,,close older male friend.Someone that is respected.It is an honor for only a chosen few.And know that her father will be there in spirit.

For the Chinese, the eldest uncle (from the dad's side - same surname/family name) could do it. If not, her eldest brother or eldest cousin (with the same family name/surname)
