I think first you have a web site of your own and invite people to visit your website. I can give you a link that gives a lot of information on promoting a website. Microsoft (free domain and hosting for life) , Google (Googlepages, Blogger) , Yahoo (Geocities), Freewebs are some of the companies offering free websites with design tools . If you have amacontosh its very usefull for things like that,It has a widget called "poeple" what it does is u type in the first and last name of a person and the city or state they live in and then when you find the information of where they live click on it,and VIOla! you have found personal information of that person,Altho the website wont tell you their license plate numbers or their security number of life lol.

If you went to H.S/college with them or if you know what H.S/college and what year they graudated, you can usually find them on there. You would be surprised with who you find! Try typing in their first and last name.
