After childbirth. You can start breastfeeding your baby right away, but the first couple of days will be colostrum. About 2 or 3 days after giving birth your breast milk will come in. At first you will feel engorged ... if you nurse frequently, your baby's needs will regulate your milk supply. If you decide not to breastfeed at all, your milk will come in, you'll be engorged for probably 24 hours and your milk supply will slowly decrease over the next week or so. I nursed 3 kids for about 4 months each.

Milk comes in between 3 and 5 days after giving birth. In late pregnancy you can leak colostrum, which is a clear-yellow liquid. This liquid comes in small amounts and is important for the newborn baby to get after birth.
Congrats on the new little one!

the actual milk doesn't come in till about 3 days after the birth of the baby and trust me you will know because your breast will swell up and hurt really really bad, but when the milk starts coming out then you ll feel better. but however you might notice clear liquid coming out your breast i say around your 6th month.

Colostrum- a pre milk substance, often begins to leak from the breasts at about 6 months... Some women never experience this during pregnany- either way is normal...

With my first baby, it did not come in until right before I gave birth (a few days before and that was just a small amount of droplets) After you give birth is something else you will look like Pamela Anderson for a week

You won't actually start lactating until after the baby is born. You may have some discharge, but the hormones that trigger lactation are not released until you are in labor, and after birth.
