Which has movies that I can download to my computer in a file format, so I can use them in movie making projects?

I appreciate the feedback, but clips on IMDB open up in a player for me. I can't download them to my comp.

The Internet Archive (archive.org) has a large number of movies available for legal downloading. Many are public domain, but some are licensed under free licenses like the Create Commons. Be sure to note the terms if any are listed.

imbd.com
but if want to get movies, you're going to have to download them illegally. However, there are legal sites with clips of famous old movies. Google them, I totally forgot, but I've used them...
Heck even check YouTube for clips from movies. You're boind to find something on these search engine type things.
Also try:
Singingfish.com -probably better for music
GoogleVideo
