To keep your marriage brimming, with love in the loving cup, whenever you're wrong, admit it; whenever you're right, shut up.

A piece of good advice is avoid the term/concept of always. When we argue we will say "You always...." Nobody does anyting all the time avoid it and focus on what actually happened versus overdramatizing to win the argument.

Although I see your point...I really can't say that I agree. There isn't a person I know that isn't in a hurry to hide when they are wrong and let everyone know when they are right. I admit there is a time and a place for everything, but your theory wouldn't work in everyday real life situations hon. From an early age, we are taught wrong from right...we are also taught, as we grow older, to share our wisdom with the younger generation. Since we live in such a "feel good" world...this advice would not work in this day and age....too many of us would either be constantly apologizing or not talking at all!

LOL I love it.

The hard thing about being wrong is admitting it and having to hear that "HAHA I'M RIGHT!!! I TOLD YOU SO!" from the other person. I totally agree that whenever you're right, you should just shut up and let it go.

well that's olny effective if both parties have heard of it. Otherwise you'll be keeping your mouth shut while the otherperson is yapping on about how rightthey are.
