Okay I have a big problem. I suck with time managment. I have extracuricular, sports, and classes after school most of the week. And of course school. Right now I have all A's, but I'm currently in no AP classes right now. I really want to to switch into AP... Other than quitting extracuricular, can any give my some tips and websites on teen time managment and how to handle extracuricular, living my full high school potential. Also I would like some tips on having the perfect high school life (looks, social life, extra curicular, grades, everything, etc.) (How do people handle millions of extracuricular, have perfect body and looks, relationships, friends, etc?...Why is it so easy or easier for them but not for me?)

My guess is that it isn't as easy as it looks for them. Even the very brightest kids, who don't have to work as hard at the academics, probably have to work harder at the other stuff.

Suggest you read "...Habits of Highly Successful Teens" ... Covey is the author? Anyway, it's a good "life lessons" book. Make sure you have a planner/calendar and mark in committments, deadlines, tests, homework. Develop a file system where you can keep things organized so you don't spend your time looking for things.

Good idea to switch to APs if you can handle them. Keep your eye on the academics...ask for help if you feel you need it (from teachers, other students.) Always do your homework. Study hard. DON'T CHEAT. Read for pleasure at least a few minutes everyday. It'll help your vocabulary and give you some quiet time to yourself.

Perhaps narrow down extracurricular activities to the 2-4 things you really have a passion about. Colleges are more interested in those, anyway, vs. you being involved in SO many things that it's really impossible for you to be passionate about any of them.

Make sure you get a good night's sleep and eat breakfast, to give you energy during the day. DO NOT DRINK OR DO DRUGS. That will sap you energy and ability to concentrate/focus. Try to minimize junk food, particularly soda, which are basically empty calories.

Play sports as one of your extracurriculars to stay in shape, and/or add some light exercise to help with that. Walk if you can, vs. drive. Take the stairs vs. elevator when you can.

Try to minimize your IM, phone, computer and tv time. Meaning, just keep it in check, don't let it interfere with your other, higher priority things.

Of course, this doesn't mean you shouldn't stay close with your friends. They are a great support system and good for you in so many ways... and some of them will still be friends with you 30 years from now!

Shoot for getting into the best possible college you can, and work hard once you're there, too. Enjoy yourself, but work hard.

As I say, it probably isn't as easy as it seems for others around you. They probably feel as insecure as you do. Be yourself, hang in there, try to improve but don't expect perfection. You're moving in the right direction, just keep going, working on things little by little.

Good luck.

Senior High institution is the special identical factor as High institution, simply one more title. Like in my the city we've got Austin Senior prime (prime institution) and Austin junior prime (center institution).
