I was wondering does anyone know some free or low cost fieldtrips for 14 - up students? Places that might teach life experiences or any.

a few ideas are: visit the local tv station/broadcast house, where the transmitter towers are. most broadcast houses offer tours for school children on a regular basis, and it's really quite impressive to see where their favorite tv shows come from. the other would be a courthouse. find the nearest local DISTRICT COURT, rather than a CIRCUIT COURT, as district courts tend to have lesser degree criminals in the area, and tours and question and answer sessions are available with any of the local judges in the courtrooms. these are public service facilities and they do not charge for tours, unless, of course, they offer some sort of refreshment with the tour, which is usually not the case. also, you could check with the nearest university, as to when they have shows in their atrium, museums, astrology labs, space labs, etc. hope these helped!! good luck to you!!

ya we love museums, im sure no 14-up student has ever been to a museum before. derder. i got a end of the year trip to washington last year, one week, all we did, memorials and museums.

try a park or a river, my bio class goes to the river a few times a semester to look at nature. be creative, your a teacher.

Oh. It's just as well that I read the second part of your question.
I was about to go into a rant on the dangers of LSD.
