it is more like something that makes a huge difference further down the road. i didn't understand the whole issue & how special it is until i got married. it is weird & hard to explain.

at the time, i was 17 & it ended up being the man i married. if it wasn't i would have regretted it. i am just lucky that he was the one i married. it isn't necessarily about that precise moment, but more about the act of sex. sex is really intimate & should actually mean something for both people.

so, what they tell you is true... waiting till marriage is best, but if you can't make it that far, just make sure it is with someone you really love.

do you really want images of sex with other guys running through your head while making love to your husband? not too enticing, huh? that is what my step-sister said happens to her...

by the way, the post above, using a tampon doesn't make you loose your virginity. duh. there are a lot of girls whose hymen breaks way before they have sex through sports & other non-sexual activity.

It's important in that, once you lose it, it's gone forever. I was grateful that the guy I was with made it the most mind-numbing, exhilarating night of my private life. But don't have sex just to lose it, and don't give in to the heat of the moment. Make sure you REALLY want to remember that guy's face hovering over yours, the smell of his body, and the taste of his sweat-- FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE.

Every intimate experience you have should feel like a gift from GOD, not like a mistake. If your first man is not someone you would want to father your children someday, then don't sleep with him. If you wouldn't want your parents to know him, then walk away. Every experience after this one will be compared to it. Make sure that it is worth it.

I gave it up too willing
guy was a jerk to me after wards
Its a gift a gal can only give up once
she should think about what she is doing before the sex happens and its too late to "fix" or "take back"

I found it to be a relief when I lost mine. I didn't have "that" as a possible gift for anyone anymore, so it was like they had to love me and not my status.I was 19 by the way.

It used to be important, doesn't seem that way now adays... but it should be... what does it feel like? It is painful a little, and it burns a little and then feels good... but that is just me, it is differnt for everyone!!
