There could be several good possible answeres to this question. One I suppose is fear. People fear what they do not understand. People are such creatures of habit they are not fond of radical change. They get comfortable with a situation and mind set and that is their comfort zone. To cross the grain causes conflict they choose to avoid, and thus act accordingly.

I would like to say that it is a trait of the intellectually challenged but it does seem to be an affliction at all IQ levels. I think that people are too lazy to think, read and educate themselves.

I have no idea but I wonder the same thing.

It amazes me when people talk about things and really have no idea what the truth is.

Reading is fundamental...some people should try it before they open their mouths.
