(I'm rather thrown off by your incorrect English grammar / spelling, so I can't figure out if you're telling us you're obese AND want to have a baby, or just obsessed.)

If you're planning to have a baby, fasting on water DOES NOT make you more likely to have a baby. In fact, it will shut down your entire reproductive system. A balanced diet and exercise are the keys to becoming a physically fertile woman. (And these'll keep you from being obese, if you're obsessed with losing weight as well.)

If you want a healthy conception I would suggest adding protein to your diet not fasting for two weeks.

Get an ovulation test and use that! You need all the calcium and other minerals and vitamins right now. I am infertile due to damaged tubes and had to go through IVF. I saw many differing therapys to help with conception...NEVER would it be suggested that you fast.

You need to build your health not dissolve it!!!! Plus you want to carry the baby not miscarry it!!! Please see a naturopath for healthy fertility and be good and gentle to your body. Starving your body this way will have your organs breaking down for heavens sakes. You need your organs for a healthy pregnancy not end up with liver disfunction or kidney failure especially with an embryo inside of you. You need greens now and calcium supplements and someone who can guide you into correct nutritional habits. What you have now you will have less of when baby is born. That is why it is imperitive to eat properly. I know. I ended up with osteoporosis at age 34 amongst other things for thinking that fasting was safe. It is not, never will be. We can detox and cleanse without starving ourselves.

Please take care with this.

Blessings be yours in peace and light,
Harriett Potty ;)

Where did you get the idea that fasting would help you conceive? If you are trying to get pregnant, the best thing for you is to be eating a diet rich in fresh fruit and vegetables and take a multivitamin along with folic acid. If you get pregnant now, you won't know for awhile, all the long depriving your baby of essential nutrients and possibly setting up the little gipper for birth defects.......

Infertility can be caused by a huge number of factors: hormone imbalance, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, Endometriosis, Anovulatory Cycles, physical blockage, inadequate hormone production, short luteal phase, lack of lutenizing hormone, high levels or prolactin, and many others. Poor nutrition often plays a major role, as does exposure to toxins. Age plays less of a role before menopause than was originally thought. While there are many wonderful naturally minded fertility specialists out there, in many cases it is not possible for them to test for and address any of these possible underlying issues.

If you are planning on getting pregnant you should start nourishing your body the way you would if you were pregnant, minus the additonal calories needed for the fetus once you are pregnant. Fasting will do nothing to help you conceive and if it's a nerve/ anxiety related problem, you may want to speak to your doctor.

my mom is a nutritionist, and she says that losing a few pounds or gaining a few pounds can help people conceive. i would suggest u going on a proper diet, perhaps one with lots of fruits veggies an lean meats.. also make sure u take vitamins, especially fatty acids which are good fats that can be found in tuna an peanut butter as well as tablets. they take care of ur sex organs. i started taking them, but stopped after i got a super heavy period the next month!

There are other ways of cleansing your body. Fasting is not a good way to support another life.

How will your baby get the nutrients it needs to develop? You are depleting yourself, you won't be able to feed a baby.

How is fasting going to help you conceive? Just curious, starvation can't be a good thing for a potential fetus.

You need to keep a healthy body so why are you fasting with just water? It doesn't make sense.
