A lot of people have been in your position. The problem with dropping out is the older you get, the harder it is to get back in because life is generally more complicated.

I recently quit a career in management because it wasn't fulfilling. I was making good money, but I was miserable. It's possible to make a good living, but your choices are much much narrower. Before you get stuck in crappy jobs, I suggest you get back in school. It's better to sacrifice a few years than the rest of your life. When you're older you'll wish you had.

Think about what you want your life to be like. What's truly important to you (besides money)? Animals, people, technology, do you prefer to be physical or sit at a desk? Ask yourself some questions and you'll get some career ideas. The important thing is that you get college credits knocked out. You'll eventually figure it out.

Hey, you get your butt back in college. You think I like it. Social life, people, grades. You name it. You think everyone who attends college likes it? You're only 23. Soooo young. You can have a great career. You just have to be a hard worker. Strong. Resistant. Find inspiration and motivation when you loose it. These things are all around you. Chill, hun. Don't panic. If you got some special talent there, then I would advice you to go get discovered, otherwise get back to college. The fact that you even asked this question shows me that you have the drive to make a difference in your life. You don't want to get crappy jobs, so go to college and succeed no matter what **** comes your way.

Of course you can have a good life without college, perhaps even happier than with college.

COllege is no guarantee for success, but it gives you better odds. WHat is success? A good job that you like? A comfortable paycheck? ABility to buy a decent car, house and vacation? To some that is success.

You CAN get those same things but your work may be harder to do, more manual labor intense or you may need to take risks with you own business and such.

Consider a trade, construction perhaps, healthcare will be big in the future. ...consider truck driving, and other occupations. Happiness and sucess comes in various flavors.

BTW, I did th college way...I earn $125,000/year, have the house and cars and vacation I like. And I enjoy my work usually. I travel internationally for the job now and have the respect of my peers for my accomplishment. Will that interest you in the future?

College can be done with community college too.

im having the same dilemma with as u... however i havent
started college.. im thinking to grasp work that will lead me to
bigger and better things.. and whether shud i got to college and
finish a degree.. and in the end.. end up with not having a
successful job..

i was talking to a lady at the salon the other day.. and she told me
she dropped out the 9th grade.. mind u shes probably in her late
30s- early 40s.. now she is the CEO is major airline company
here - QANTAS

i guess somethings u have to take a chance and grab an
opportunity.. college isnt for everybody.. the world still needs
a plumber.. carpenter.. hairdresser.. if u seriously do not like college
why be there? .. cuz u'll end up resenting that u've wasted ur time

I would agree with Ryan Here!'s answer. It really depends on what you want in life. If it deals with lots of money then I would suggest going back to college but if you are happy living a life that doesnt involve a fancy house or car then you might just want to find what it is that interests you and make it a career. There are also other ways to make lots of money such as investing or if your lucky winning the lotery. Hope this helps. Good Luck

Alot of people who go to college today cannot find jobs after graduation. Some have to take less paying jobs.
I would not suggest you quiting college just weigh the facts. My husband never went to college, currently I am not working and we are doing fine. Most people who have college degrees are not working in the field they went to college for.

I too dropped out of college and I thought that; since the average college grad earns 15 times more money than a non-grad in one's lifetime, I would be a failure too! However, I enjoy people and money, so now I am a millioniare because I got into multi-level marketing. You can have all you want in your lifetime if you will simply help enough other people get what they want! E-mail me anytime!

Don't go to college just to go to college. Take some time out to find what you want to do, then get a degree in that, if you need one.

It is possible but a lot harder. Have you considered getting a degree online? What do you really enjoy doing? Take classes in this and be the best at it.

If u have d time, do it. If u r tight financialy dont burden yourself any further, get a job , work hard and you will succeed. But dude, 'success' is debatable.
