It snows at least once a year in Charlotte. Charlotte tends to get a heavy snow every 2 to 3 years, but it has been about 3 years since a significant pure snow. Charlotte is more plagued with ice storms than snow in the past few winters. But yes, it snows at least once a year.

Yes, I live right outside of charlotte about 20 mins. It snows about every 2 years on average.

It hardly ever snows here... the last actuall "snow" was in 2000 when we got like 2ft. I think it's funny how people in charlotte freak out when they hear about snow (im from jersey so i dont) but its funny watching other people :)
