I asked this earlier today- but only got a couple of answers....
Has anyone successfully carried a pregnancy that had a low HCG level. I'm currently 5 weeks, and my HCG level is 43. I'm retesting in 4 days, but I'm very nervous, and I need some encouragement.

The important thing to keep in mind about HCG levels is that the number itself is NOT important, only that it doubles every 2-3 days.

I was PG in August with a starting HCG level of 26 at 4.5 weeks. I was given the whole "you have a low HCG level scare" and ended up miscarrying 3 days later.

I wish I could give you better news....but everyone's different and yours might have a better outcome than mine. I hope so. For now, stay calm. Especially if you have no spotting.

If it doesn't work out, try to tell yourself that it was for the best b/c something may be wrong w/ the baby. I know that does not help a lot but it was the only thing that comforted me.

I am now prego again ... only 6 weeks but luckily started out with a better HCG level. Still going to worry until 12 weeks though....

Good Luck...

Good news- I had hcg of 38 in week 6 and am now in week 37 with a very healthy baby and ready to go into labour hopefully very soon. Do yourself a favor and do not go onto any websites anymore- trust in god and if anything, massage yourself with some natural progesterone cream. Also, do not do anymore hcg tests- it will just drive you crazy. Believe that everything is okay. The websites made me virtually go mad!

If your level is 43 now, then in 4 days, it should be more like 650 or so. It may be that your dates are wrong, and you're not as far along as you think (you may not have ovulated when you think you did), or it could be a sign of impending miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy. Are you cramping or spotting at all?

If your numbers are not progressing as they should, your doctor may want to do an early ultrasound to see if they can see a gestational sac, and if so, where it is located. At 6 weeks, there is a chance they will be able to see the sac in utero via an internal ultrasound.

That is an ominous development, sorry to say. Hope it was a mistake, and the retest shows it to be markedly elevated, but you need to start the mental and emotional process of realizing that not every pregnancy turns out best.

i'm sorry that is causing you all this rigidity. I had a miscarriage about a million & a million/2 years in the past and went through a similar element. All i'll inform you is to attend till you've the subsequent blood try. that's how the wellness middle worked out i replaced into miscarrying. It sounds like the P.A student is attempting to practice you for the worst. i comprehend it really is tricky to attend. The blood try is the proper confirmation.
