I don't believe anyone is born gay (as in their sexual orientation being predetermined by their biology), although I do believe that your sexual desires cannot be chosen or consciously changed. You simply have preferences that develop over your life (mostly in the younger part of it, but all the time are constantly being added on to, even if it doesn't change).

Therefore, I'd say that you can develop in childhood a preference for heterosexuality and against homosexuality. Some people don't like certain things and have no reason for such a feeling; they just have it. That doesn't mean they're born with a gene for that, but that it's a feeling they have, for whatever reason they have it. However, gay is a sexual orientation, and anti-gay is a feeling . . . one is a desire, the other, a judgement. You can't really compare them- it's like apples and oranges.

Not to mention that you can't consciously change your desires (as I've said), but you can certainly re-evaluate your beliefs and come to different conclusions, one which might be pro-gay rather than anti-gay.

So, if I've made any sense at all, that's my take on the subject.

Well technically no, but you can be born with a mental disorder that can develop into anti-homosexual feelings. It's a fact that people who commit hate crimes often have a mental disorder which causes extreme hate towards a particular group, but even then they would have to have been raised to develop that dislike for the group.

I suppose it's possible. You can be born not liking how certain foods taste, so I suppose you could be born hating gay people.. but the key word is HATE. Hate is an emotion that you are taught. So I don't think that's possible.

even although i'm Christian and that i do no longer unavoidably trust homosexuality and that i do no longer rather understand how i've got faith approximately it being something somebody is born with i think of that no longer permitting them to marry is unlawful. in accordance to the U.S. shape this is meant to be a unfastened united states of america that asserts to no longer deny electorate' rights and separate state from faith. So whilst asked if I trust i do no longer think I do yet whilst asked whether or no longer it would be proper, i've got faith so, in accordance to our shape. To be straightforward i've got faith the bigots who without delay say no w/o thinking and bash gays might sense distinctive if it have been their son or daughter. and additionally as a Christian I particularly don't think my existence is being affected in any respect via gay marriage. So why could gay marriage additionally be desperate via somebody who it won't influence. i comprehend it form of sounds like i'm rambling yet there is plenty to assert in this subject remember and this is purely a bite of my opinion.

I don't think you can be born "anti gay", I believe that becoming anti anything is dependent upon your upbringing and the opinions of the people that have influenced you.

There is a difference between your innate sexuality and learned intolerance and hate. One is part of your chemical makeup, and the other is learned behavior.

As much as I'd like to think that hatred is something people can't help, we both know that discrimination, intolerance and black hearted hate is a personal choice.

My cousin is gay, and I don't believe you are born gay. I believe you make that choice yourself. Of course some men have female
habits and visa versa. But I know of a man that was married had kids, and got divorced and rejected by his wife, so he went the other way. I medically do not beleive you are born gay. Check a medical site and find out

Love comes naturally, bigotry is learned. Besides I think that sexuality is developed through a balance of environmental and hereditary causes. Sexuality is a natural thing, whichever sexuality it is the point is you are supposed to have it. However while sexuality comes naturally opinions are formed, in other words they don't form on their own.
