firstly,I consider you have to know the reason for your un-concentration. ( sleepy or not interest in the content .....)
secondly, you can find ways to solve them according to the reasons.
it is simple for a sleepy student. but it is rather difficult to solve others . here i'd like to enjoy my experience on other problems, that is to set a goal for you in a period of time, thus you follow it actively.it is very useful.

First, you need to find out what is distracting you. Are you tired, anxious, watching other things going on outside, or thinking about other things? If you are easily distracted by things around you or outside, you might want to be tested for ADD. If you are tired, try exercising in the morning, and getting at least 6 hours of sleep. The first week of exercises will be hard, and won't seem to help, but after that, you will have a ton of energy! If you have other things going on in your life, you need to fix those things. If the teacher is boring...can't help ya!!

I had a question similar to that. You need to do some intensive exercising, or go out in nature, do somthing out of the ordinary. When a person can't concentrate there might be some underlying stress, or simply boredom. Do some crazy dancing or some other talent and put it on youtube. Meditaion and yoga.

Sit as close to the front as possible. This will keep distractions out of your view and help you to focus on the teacher.
Do your homework so lectures make sense to you
Interact. Take notes, ask questions.
Get plenty of sleep (at home), eat well and snack if you have to to keep energy levels up, and get physical activity so you don't get ansy in class. Try a Redbull

If you feel like sleeping in class, well, then you need more sleep. Get a least 7 hours or more and you should feel fine after.

Check your body language. Are you slouching? Are you putting your head down, or allowing your hands to hold your head up? If your body isn't in the position to learn, your brain won't be either. Make sure to sit up and focus on the teacher.

You should get enough sleep, and also getting coffee to go for the class helps. The coffee helps me a lot.
