My friend does drugs?

My Friend started hanging around the bad people. He now does crack, meth, vidocon and other bad things, I want to help him and not call the police on me, he is my best friend, I want to help him how do I do this!?

I think you should have an intervention with him, have his family, friends, other people to tell them how much they love him and how this is affecting them personally.

You are in a tough position. Both crack and meth are extremely addictive and meth is leathal when attempting to become clean. Meth is one of the few drugs that you cant actually go cold turkey. I also suggest intervention, but you have to be really careful as the drug dependency turns your best friend or family members into a stranger. Make sure that you don't support the addiction, dont ever give them money or leave any valuables around. No matter how much you used to trust them, the drugs are all they will think about and it doesnt matter who it hurts. They are the ones that will have to make the decision that they want to be clean. If they enjoy it, theres little if nothing you can do. IF they do want to be clean then involve yourself in the intervention and treatment. But dont get your hopes up, once addicted, always addicted, its whether or not they eventually have the will power to fight it. Good Luck

Yes, i know ome people that are like that too, and yes it is hard to help them stay away from it all. No the police should be one of the last things you should do because that there would lose a friendship for the most part. My opinion sit down with your friend and ask questions like why he's doing this? spending money he could be using on other vaueable things than tht. (im not sure of his age)but ask him how he would be without it, and how its going to help him in the future, and you should tell himlife would be happier, fuller to experience better experiences. Another idea if those don't work is take him to a church for awhile trying to help(perferably not catholic or any religion too strong, go to like a baptist church) and mybe eventually you can have you friend talk to a conserlor. If you follow these, don't do them all at once because that wouldnt be good, but slowly(not too slow though!) i hope this helped

OK Dude I know Where your coming from, I use to do drugs, and it is not fun. What You Should do at first is try and ease your way to get to talking about his problem, and then just get him to sit down with him and really talk to him, tell him how you fell about him doing drug, and maybe if hes really bad asking him if He'll go to rehab.

then alk to him. if he doesn't listen,tell his parents (but make sure he wouldn't know that it was you who told his 'rents). stay away from him for awhile; if he missed you, he'd choose you over drugs. but most probably that wouldn't happen especially when he already gets addicted to the drugs. the help you could offer him is limited. just think for yourself if you remain friends with a drug user.

u need to tell some one so they can help him, thats VERY danerours, beleive me i've seen how bad drugs screw up lives, tell his parents, a specialist ANY ONE to help him ! drugs kill!

All you can do is be supportive if he wants to quit, But he's got to make that choice you can't make it for him.
