Apparently, last time I didn't make myself clear. What other OVER THE COUNTER contraceptive can I use with a condom that will help with prevention of pregnancy, besides abstinence? I can't take the meds perscribed by a dr 'cause I'm at a high risk with all those hormones put in my body. I'm a 19 year old, virgin, female and I was just curious 'cause I think I may start to become sexually active and I don't want to get pregnant. Please don't shun me for asking this question. I'm wanting to know what may be the best options.

Spermicidal films last for two hours before to two hours after sex, diaphragms are pretty easy, too. Just go to your local WalMart, drug store and they will have a whole aisle of stuff you can check out and see what will work best for you:)
Good for you for making sure you are prepared!! I wish more girls would at least take some precautions!

You could try a spermicide - but you should really discuss alternative options with your gyno b/c condoms and spermicides are not highly effective. Condoms are only 85% effective.

have you thought of maybe an IUD(intrauterinedevice)? There are some foams available, but don't know I would trust them alone, why not visit a pharmacy and check out the labels for use and safety...

there's no confirm prevention methods that guarantee you from being pregnant. the most used one is condom. but most of times boys neglects it.. to be sure i think pill is the easiest way.
however is it strongly recommended to use condom at all time.
you may want to create other methods for your partner to *** his loads.. e.g. most of the times my bf *** over my face and he likes it a lot to put his loads inside my mouth.
it is some form of encouragement for him from ejaculates inside me.. though sometimes i yearn to have a feel of his loads inside me..

there are over the counter spermicides, that are effective, especially if used with a condom,,,

there are spermacides, and sponges that i think you can get with out a RX
i am very glad that you are trying to be safe
