What are some old wise tales to determine the gender of an unborn child?

Can some one help me find some free web sites to help me determine the gender of my unborn child? I do not want to take DNA or real gender tests as they can costs money. I have already tried the Chinese gender thing from two different sites. One said I was having a girl, and one said I was having a boy....so now Im curious...lol! What will it be....he,she,it? LOL

I had always been told that if you crave fruit it's a girl, if you crave veggies it's a boy. If the heart beat is above 140 it's a girl, if not it's a boy (my doctor even joked about this one when my babies heartbeat was 160.) I've been told by different people that if you are very sick than it's a boy or a girl, this one doesn't seem to be very consistant. There are a lot of fun old wives tales. I've looked at the Chinese calendar on different sites and some say I'm a having a boy and some say I'm having a girl (and yes, I take in consideration the age, I was 27 when I concieved and will be 27 when the baby is born. And I also have taken in consideration about the difference in a Chinese year.

I can't wait till Nov 30th, I'm having an ultrasound and we will get to know the sex. So excited!!!

There are too many to indicate and that i'm afraid they're all incorrect - maximum suggested i became having a woman yet at my final ultrasound we found out we are having a boy - i'm ecstatic as i wanted a boy and saved finding for an previous better halves tale to tell me that's what i'd have. when you have your ultra sound around your 5th or so month they will tell you if you want to know but as far as old wives tales there are probably too many to count.
there is the high/ low - if you are carrying high its a girl, low its a boy....another is if your cravings are for sweets its a girl and things such as dill pickles its a boy..... then the if the father gains weight during your pregnency then its a girl, if he doesnt then its a boy......if you gain weight in front its a girl, if you gain in the hips and butt its a boy...then theres one about you tie your wedding ring on a string and dangle it above your belly but i cant remember if it spins clockwise if its a girl or a boy. just do a google search on old wives tales and it will bring up alot of them. i was curious too when i was pregnant and alot of the pregnancy websites have them on there. but my advice to predict is to trust your mommy instinct cause i had a feeling all along it was a boy and it was. good luck and have fun

tie a piece of string around your wedding ring and lay down and hold it over the baby in your stomach if it swings back and forth it is a boy if it swings in a circle it is a girl. and if you get big all over it is a boy if you are mainly stomach it is a girl. i personally think you will have a boy .just a feeling.

If you're carrying high, its a girl. carrying low, its a boy. this has proved itself untrue. If you have a c-section, then fall pregnant again within 6 months, it will be the same sex as the last. don't think that one is really plausible.
