Every area of my skin except for my nose and chin... and sometimes around my lips... is PERFECT. I am absolutely pleased with most of my complexion. I have what I think are black heads and clogged pred on my nose... and I can't seem to get them to go away. On my chin, its is always slightly red and oily and bumpy and pimples pop up every now and then. I have a problem covering up these areas with concealer. Anyone have any suggestions as how to treat these areas?????

hey--

i have sort of the same problem, so i know how frustrating it can be.

i know what i'm about to say gets said a LOT, but it really works for me so i'll say it again. the best thing you can do for your complexion is to GET ENOUGH SLEEP. i'm not kidding. if i stay up late or sleep restlessly my nose breaks out the next day or the day after. another big one is DRINK LOTS OF WATER.
another big one is DON"T TOUCH YOUR FACE! grease and grime from your hands gets on your face, especially on your nose and chin and KaBoom! if you use hair products, consider washing your face after you use them instead of before. at night when you go to sleep, use an astringent cleanser and sleep with your hair pulled back or off of your face. cover girl makes these little concentrated concealer sticks that have sylicic acid in them---- they look like skin-colored eyeliner pencils or something. anyway, they work great because it keeps the spot clear and dry while concealing, as opposed to just putting concealer over it and making it worse even though its hiding it.

i LOVE biore products. especially the triple action astringent cleanser. the pore-minimizing everyday face scrub. and i also like the Aveeno correcting treatment. its really gentle and i use it instead of lotion. stay away from clearasil-- it is the kiss of death!

good luck.

Is it absolutely necessary to find a skin regiment that works for you and stick with it daily. Dont skip a day and don't slack off. If you wear makeup make postively sure that all of your makeup is completely off before you go to sleep. That can be devasting to your skin. Even a skin care regiment doesn't completely remove all makeup so try using cold cream on harsh makeup areas, such as eyes.

human beings are likely gonna imagine i'm very stupid yet that is what works for me. So, I did this some months in the past because i'm no longer the neatest. keep that in concepts. zits is led to through bacteria turning out to be in and fewer than your pores and skin properly? So I easily idea that if Hand Sanitizer killed bacteria, why can't it kill it on my face? Andddd that carry about me putting some small quantities of hand sanitizer in my T-zone and different sensible places.I try this about 2-3 circumstances an afternoon and that works really tremendous for me. no extra zits. yet another element I do is, if i'm in a melt-down situation, I grab somewhat of ice and rub that each one over the zits for a million-2 minutes. (Or till that's thoroughly melted.) I also use this Carrot exfoliating face wash with beads in it. It smells extraordinary to me yet tremendous to others. And leaves your face really tender. definite.....very stupid tricks yet hi....it works for me

Use a cream that has Benzoyl Peroxide such as Retin-A-Micro. Proactive didn't work for me. Don't wash your face/hair with any products that are mositurepacked, or that openly say it contains oils. [Moisture-packed products contain oils] Also, don't clog your pores with makeup, use Mineral makeup such as Bare Essentials because it's very light, as well as oil free. Oh, and wash your face completely every morning/night.

I know everyone and their mother recommends Proactiv and I'm just another one of them. USE IT. It works. And this is coming from someone who tried everything to clear my skin including prayer. Haha! NOTHING cleared my pores, and I mean nothing. The pores on my nose were huge and absolutely nothing I tried would clear them up one bit. I used Proactiv the first time and my pores haven't clogged up since. Please try it. I promise you won't be disappointed.
