arent you guys disappointed after hearing they are having major problems with being able to play ps2 and psx games on there? i dont think ill be buying one anytime soon now after knowing that.

Yes but it is more of having to manually change settings on PS3 it for them to work yes it is annoying and I am not happy about it but they will still work on it.
However some of the PS1 will not and most of the PS2 will

I'm buying a PS3 to play PS3 games, not PSX or PS2 games. That's why I still have my PS2 so I can play my old PS2 games. Besides, it's only around 200 games that aren't compatible with the PS3. 200 is a very small number compared to how many PS1 and PS2 games that are out there.

I was told yesterday that you will be able to buy a card so that you can play the games. What really stinks is that we got a phonecall a little bit ago all the people who went early and put their names and money down for the systems months ago on a reserve list that it was all for nothing. They decided to put all the people's names whose names were on the reserve list into a hat and pulled two names. In my area Guy #1 won't be getting his system since his name wasn't pulled. Guy #2 was lucky along with someone way down the list. Another kicker... Game Crazy guaranteed the first people on the list that they would get their systems First!!! We now hear that the next shipment will be in December. I think I will stick with Candyland.

Really?!! I didn't know that. That really sucks!! I'll just have to get my parents to buy me a PS3 game with the PS3 itself.

well...the system is going to be out the roof expensive. And there HAVE been issues concerning the system itself. None of my friends are bothering with it, and neither am I. Just a waste of time really.
