lol, thats a hard question. many battles of WW2 involved naval support, and there were many ship vs. ship battles. bombers are what attacked pealr harbor, AND the b-17 played many roles in the destruction of german facilities. without naval and air superiority we would have lost for sure. plus the germsnas had the biggest battleship the bismark which was next to the yamoto, or super yamoto. united states had the most powerful carriers and air.

imo jima, omaha beach, midway, wake island, market garden,
all use air or naval support, navy was also good artillery for land fortification. and the dropping of the two atom bombs on japan did not end the war, only after germany surrendered did japan surrender. there were many air battles over germany, the B-17 was the absolute best bomber but were still being eaten by the german luffwafa (somethin like that) which is why so many were lost. after the invention of the p-51 they lost fewer on mssions.

try the battle of leyte gulf! the germans would have beat us to the atomic bom had britain not sabatoged them.

That's an odd question, because it presupposes that it's true. I would disagree with the intent of the question. What ultimately decided the outcome of the war was the massive combined industrial capacity of the Allies, especially the US, Russia and Great Britain. They basically outproduced the Axis.

Now, one could say that it's a trick question, because Germany did not press it's advantage after Dunkirk and mount an invasion of the British home islands. Part of this was due to poor planning, part of it was due to a lack of German naval assets of the type needed to mount such an invasion. However, this ties in to the idea that Allied war production capacity far exceeded that of the Axis.

One could talk about the Battle of Midway, in the Pacific, as being the turning point of the war against Japan. There, it was mostly luck that led to a US victory, with some brilliant leadership on the part of Sprague. At Midway, the US was heavily outshipped and outgunned. The one US advantage was superior intelligence data, as the US had broken the Japanese naval ciphers.

There was no Air Force till after WWII.However they may have
meant Air Power. The Navy got the air power closer to the Mainland Japan. There was also a battle nicknamed "The Turkey Shoot",because the fleet was caught in a lagoon at low tide and couldn`t properly defend it self.Almost destroyed a large portion
of the Imperial Navy.
The Navy also trasported the Marine landing force.

The US loss of capital battleships at Pearl Harbor greatly increased the importance of the aircraft carrier.

The naval convoy escorting vast numbers of ships across the Atlantic overwhelmed the ability of Germans to destroy the allied materials.

The ability of the US to provide ships and aircraft in unprecidented numbers was a key factor to the victory.

Good searches would include "Battle of Britain" "U-boat war" "Battle of the Atlantic"

It was with the use of the navy and the airforce that led to the victory at Midway and the two atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki which led to Japans surrender.

Naval power bombarded the islands that we won over so we could build airstrips on them to make the flights to Japan.

beginning with 3, you're subtracting 0.2 each and every time. the 2nd term is 3 - 0.2 x a million The 0.33 term is 3 - 0.2 x 2 The fourth term is 3 - 0.2 x 3 The 8th term is 3 - 0.2 x 7 the 20 th term is 3 - 0.2 x 19 you will possibly desire to be seeing a trend coming up, the place the type that 0.2 is being expanded by is one under the term type, so the only hundredth term is: 3 - 0.2 x ninety 9. So the nth term would be: 3 - 0.2 x (n-a million). we would oftentimes simplify this: 3 - 0.2(n-a million) =3 - 0.2n + 0.2 =3.2 - 0.2n. wish this permits, Twiggy.
