I've posted a few items but got no bids even when the price was set low...what items do you think are best sellers?

I sell alot on ebay. I've found that to be successful, you must have good photos, good descriptions, a good product, and good service. Even if it means you have to put out a little money up front before you start to make money. Also make sure to use as many describing or cross referencing words in the title as possible.

Key words in the title work best for me because if you pay the extra $.35 for a gallery photo, the customer sees the picture of what product it is so the jumble of key words isn't so confusing. Picking a competitive shipping and product price is very important too if you don't have a high feedback rating and if there are more than 20 or 30 products like the one your selling on ebay (when many search results are found people tend to sort by price) Buying random stuff to drive up your rating wouldn't hurt either

I think it's hard to say. My sister picked up two authenthic, used coach bags at a flea market a few weeks ago. She paid $8 for each and one sold for $60 and the other $50. She also sold a real Louis Vuitton wallet that she found at a flea market.

I had a friend who bought a cashmere coat for about $10 at a thrift store and sold it for $200 something on Ebay.

I sold on Ebay a year or two ago and I NEVER sold things the way they did.

It seems like most new items are are somewhere on ebay, so try to find something used and unique.

I did find a box of really old vintage diapers in the thrift store about two years ago. There are collectors on ebay. I would have made a mint, but the folks at the thrift store used a black marker to write the price on it. Talk about depreciation!

It takes as long as to snap a photo and write a description. Everyone can do Ebay.
It;s hard to say what the best sellers are- but I have done well with woman and children GREAT condition clothing- children toys- DVDs/Videos- collectibles.

Look at the history of the items you are selling and see whatthey have sold for in the past.

Depends on how fast you can click. 3-5 minutes if you are already able to purchase items.

Use a different search, and don't set a reserve price
