When they first started out, their slogan used to be: "Cross the border."

What I take that initial slogan to mean is that they meant to bring a little Mexican flavor into the States and introduce traditional Mexican dishes to the biggest consumers on the planet via fast food establishments. But doesn't them setting up restaurants in Mexico defeat the purpose of what they are trying to do? They basically crossed and then backtracked across the border into their own territory.

To capitalize, which is what America is about on the Mexican and American population. One, Mexican people wanting some American (artificial) Mexican food, and Americans, who may feel home-sick for some American-Mexican food.
