The Senators have the wrong people running the team.
John Muckler and Brian Murray are always referred to as "good hockey men", but that is in spite of the fact that Brian Murray has had limited success as a playoff coach and John Muckler has always inherited better teams than he has created as a GM.
Ottawa needs to fire Brian Murray right away. They had a great game last night, but the ship is sinking, and with that team, there's no reason for it other than bad game plans.

I think the Sens are a good hockey team. They are just in a funk right now. They beat my Sabres last night and I thought they played a good game. Emery being back in net made a difference for them. They seemed to be more confident. They are a team that you have to watch out for They are struggling now, but at anytime they can snap out of their funk and be a good hockey team again. Watch out for them....last nights game could be what they needed.

Folks? OK, grandpa, I think they made a HUGE error bagging on hasek. Goalies are weird and tempermental and with Hasek unless he's 100% he won't play. He got hurt in Olys and then you dump him? Not a good move when you look at his stats from 05/06. he is still all-world. Det made a great move and they'll handle him better than the Muck.
You got what you deserve. The Sens will never win a Cup now. Good luck with EmeryBoard and Gerber'sBabyFood in nets.

Sens should of gotten rid of Alfredsson in the off-season, he is a terrible player in the playoffs he has like 3 goals in his last 30 playoff games terrible stats. If I was GM I would of traded Alfredsson and I would of kept Chara with that money. and i would of never gotten Gerber he was **** last year with the Hurricanes with a team that could score that's why he got all his wins, but as you seen last year he fell apart in the playoffs to my Habs. when Emery comes back from injury they better use him as there #1 cause it will be along season if they keep Gerber in bad moves on the GM's part this off season terrible moves.

As a Flyer fan myself, I find the Senators annoying, only because they always find a way to punk Philly in the playoffs. The good news is that it won't be an issue this year. Ugh.
I saw Dany Heatley play in college (Wisconsin) and he is awesome. It was a shame about the accident. But he is a character.
GO FLYERS!

Now, now...no team is worse than the Flyers. The Sens are only third worse to the Flyers (Phoenix is almost as bad as the Flyers).
