I have both and I'm selling my DS
Why? Because there are more games on the psp that i like.
You will have to decide which one is better for you.
There are final fantasy style games on psp.
The movies on psp are a bit of a rip off.

I would ask for a psp because then u can use it as a mp3 player, movie player, and play games. so it is a lot better. But if u still play gameboy games then get the DS because then u can still play them on the ds where as a psp u have to buy all new stuff. I would still go for a PSP

PSP can go online with WIFI. I check my email, chat, buy on Ebay, download music and movies. It has a RSS feed for blogging. It can hold 4 gigabytes of music and movies and pictures, games. Better than an IPOD and more portable than a DS
