As For Clooney being INTELLIGENT, I don't think so. He is "smart" the way everyone thinks Al Gore is "smart." In other words, STUPID, but we'll just humor him.

I’m so with you on this Jack. Clooney is a buffoon. He only has average looks and average talent but women who are star struck and can’t recognize the difference between the actor and the character he plays find him attractive because of his E.R. character. I didn’t watch E.R. except for a couple times but I’m sure his E.R. character was a more decent person than he is. I always thought Clooney was a pompous jerk but last years academy awards made me decide to avoid all of his movies. There was a woman who was just an average person and she won an award for something not famous like lighting or something. She was not ugly or anything and she got up and in her speech thanked the academy for sitting her next to George Clooney at dinner. The camera panned to him and he knew it and he rolled his eyes in disgust. I thought - what an f’ing jerk. So she wasn’t Nicole Kidman - so what? He is so full of himself and his popularity that he had to ruin this woman’s night. I’m sure she had family and friends watching and recording and Clooney had to act like a pig for no good reason. He makes me sick.

Well, I like his acting. I did enjoy E.R. for a while, but I think it's pretty much run its course. He has nice eyes, I guess, but I wouldn't say he's the sexiest man alive. I don't know where People magazine gets their votes from.
p.s.- soulsearch, I heard on E! News that Leo did make the list.

George clooney sucks big time....well he is just a normal human being not the sexiest person alive, he doesnt even act well...he keeps on showing off his weird smile, if you look at every movie or every picture of george clooney, he will show off his weird smile...each and every single time....whts the deal wth tht? well, maybe bcs of the he got the SPA-sexiest person alive title....geeezzzzz, this world is going to hell...

i agree with the person above me about the Phoenix not getting an award.. it made me so mad.. But George Clooney is the sexiest man alive.. Come on remember they voted Richard Gere and Mel Gibson and Brad pitt as the sexiest man alive..
