In tv/movie, what's the difference among supervising producer, executive producer and producer?

Exec. producer is a fancy title for someone who may have put up some money but doesn't do any real work. It's usually given to stars as a ego-boosting perk. Supervising producer SHOULD be overseeing something (budgets, etc.), but doesn't always. The producer hires the director and other creative employees, pays the bills and watches the budget.
