On the 1st of December my sister's boyfriend is going in for a bond reduction hearing (Colorado), is there any way I can appeal to the court not to reduce his bond due to his drug use, abuse and flight risk? Has anyone else been to or had a reduction hearing? How much did they reduce your bond? This guy is facing 6 or more felonies, one includes resisting arrest, fraudulent checks and producing counterfeit checks. Please help, I want him to stay in jail and then he won't kill my sister!

Yes, you can be at the bond hearing and protest. Do not be afraid to go there and tell your story, they will listen and probally not let his bond become reduced. If you do nothing, there is a chance he will get a reduction. You do not need a lawyer to do this.....just stand up and be counted.

Although its different from state to state, it would be best if you, your sister, and as many people that knows him can go to the bond hearing. If there is no one to protest it, it usually doesnt matter what he has done they will reduce it.
