i certainly dont do that, why wouldnt you pay for your own things, if your talking about things like a meal/movie, once again, many women share, pay one time the guy the next, or purchase and cook a meal

dont, ask them if you wish to

i guess the person asking could buy the ring

while more and more women dont change their name,,,,, often its easier, especially if you have children, to have one name for the family,
shouldn't all these things be obsolete??
most of these things are obsolete as far as the feelings that they must be this way,,,,, but yes they are still practiced, society doesnt change its norms that often or that fast, hopefully all women know they have choices, about these things and many more
no wonder why they still have the power!!
if women did change their attitudes and expectations,,, as far as most of what you mentioned, it would go far in them being viewed more equally, i believe
they only can have the power over women
+that women allow

In today's world a woman only does the thing you're talking about if she still believes that's how things are supposed to be.
You can do, be, and say whatever you want...and certainly don't have to wait for anyone to give you permission to do anything.
Step up to the plate and live your life the way you want.

No, No. You have your cake and eat it. A woman boss is worse than Captain William Bligh and the labour board does nothing.
Reverse that and the male boss is charged with discrimination.

actually, some people (like me) don't follow any of those "rules"
And I don't know if making them pay for everything and buy us a ring is giving them any real power.
