You only get 1.5 hours to vote. So if Mario and Emmit's lines are both busy none stop for that 1.5 hours...and the online voting kept saying that the server was too busy because their were so many people on their voting....and the judges scores were all ties...then how can they possibly come up with a winner.

Because...if Mario and Emmits phone lines are BOTH busy for the 1.5 hours straight, then that means they should tie in the phone vote

and they tied on the judges score...

that means that the only way the winner could have been determined is by who was luckiest on getting their vote in online???

Am I right or am I right????

So are we REALLY choosing the winner? or is the network?

WHO DID YOU VOTE FOR IF YOU GOT IN???? Because my mom, my sister and I all called on each of our cell phones for 1.5 hours straight and got NOTHING on Mario...so did you get in easily on Emmit? Hmmmm.....??? Cause that would mean that more people were calling for Mario if so!

Just because the lines were busy for the same amount of time does not mean they got the same number of votes. Some people stay on the line longer than others. Even if it is a difference of a second or two it adds up.

Nice theory tho'

No, you're not right...there are millions of people in America that voted...obviously that many people voting at one time can clog up the phones regardless of who they're voting for. It's just like if you've ever tried to win something off the radio and couldn't get through...other people just had the lines jammed, but that doesn't mean that you COULDN'T have gotten through...you just weren't lucky enough to. As for the online voting, ever experienced a problem with yahoo? That happens because too many people are online also...same thing, different piece of equipment. Sorry that you're disappointed, but just because you don't like the outcome doesn't mean it was done unfairly.

No I don't think so. Yes it was busy a couple of times when I called but I was able to vote on both my cell phones and my house phone. I bet their was a lot of people who got through but their was some who didn't.

Hard choice between Mario & Karina and Emmitt & Cheryl

But the bottom line is that Cheryl Burke is the true winner for the 2nd time!

I managed to get through to vote twice. I'm sure that the phone lines were over powered because everyone was voting but I did manage to get through.

Hmmmmm. Interest theory. And I agree, they should have had the same number of calls in the same 1.5 hours.

I got my call in easier to Marios than my sister did with Emmitts....does that mean Mario had more phones than Emmitts?....some questions are just stupid...

It all depends on when you call...

it would've been nice if they had more than one phone line to vote in like they do with american idol. then more people would've been able to vote and get through, ya know?
