it is irrational, the numbers will never repeat in a similar fashion

I believe that all rational numbers can be expressed as either a terminating or a repeating decimal. If your number doesn't end or doesn't start repeating somewhere, then I think you can say that it's irrational.

here is a similar workpaper for the proof of irrationality of "e". i think you could follow the same steps for this number since it can be expressed as the sum of an infinite sequence. my vote is for IRRATIONAL. hope this helps:
