In the 1985-86 season Gretzky scored 215 points, but does anyone know exactly how many games out of the 80 game season he actually recorded a point in?
I'm not posting this as a trivia question, I am looking for the answer. Thanks.....

I KNOW....... he had a point or more every game except for November 1st vs Buffalo, January 27th vs Chicago, and March 11th vs Minnesota. every other game he had a point or more. and plus he had a game misconduct on December 13th vs Winnipeg but still had 2 goals and 2 assists for 4 points 12 PIM.
and on two occasions he had 2, 7 points games on December 11th vs Chicago 7 assist, and on February 14th vs Quebec with 7 assists.in 80 games his total was 52 goals and 163 assists and 215 points. so 3 games in all 80 games season he didn't get a point. so that means he got 1 point or more in 77 games out of 80 that season.

Not sure how reliable this information is but if you think about it he would have had to recorded about 3 a game to get that high. So I would say all of them.
