I am on the pill, and neither of us had sex before each other. Do we have to use a condom every time?

The pill is highly effective for preventing pregnancy, but it is not 100%. It's something like 97% effective when you use it PERFECTLY, and of course less effective if you skip pills or mess up your schedule at all.
If you are POSITIVE that your boyfriend has not had sex with anyone else, you are probably safe from STDs. However, even oral sex can transmit infections (e.g. herpes.) Maybe you two should both get tested, to be 100% sure. Good luck!

There's always that small risk of pregnancy even with the pill. If you are totally opposed to becoming pregnant now, I would continue to use condoms. Plus, you never know if your boyfriend has/will cheat on you. When you are married or in a relationship serious enough that a baby isn't terrifying, both you and your partner should be tested for STD's before throwing out the condoms. (even if he has never had intercourse with someone else, "messing around" can spread disease!)

YES!!!! You should use a condom every time you have sex. Being on the pill is not 100% when it comes to birth control, and if you know that you are not ready for a baby, use every precaution available. And condoms are a good habit to get into especially if you are a young women. ALWAYS protect yourself.

Unless you are in a monogamous relationship, are wanting to get pregnant or run the risk of contracting an STD then absolutely not. No birthcontrol method is 100% effective. Everything has a failure rate and birthcontrol of any kind doesn't protect you from a sexually transmitted disease. Condoms should be used til you are married although that is really never the case.

There is always the risk that you could get pregnant, even if you are on the pill, but if you want to lower the risks of getting pregnant I highly recommend you use a condom, EVERY TIME, plus be on the pill, and/or even use a spermicide. The more protection you use the better.

balerina : It is "ok" to always, have sex without a condom on. The problem is the "pill" is not 100% reliable. You also run the risk for STD. There are many girls out there, who have contracted herpes simplex, and are having one hell of a time finding a guy. The guy wants sex and the girl has to tell him about it; then, the guy leaves her. - FUN for life !!! You have a choice - to "do it" OR not to "do it" !!! Choose !

i would use the condom anyways. for your safety and he's what if he is lying about not being with someone else and he gives you an std. also the pill is not 100 percent safe so that you dont get pregnant. if you dont want that i's better to be safe than sorry later on. remember that guys lie just to haave sex. all my boyfriends when i was younger said to me that they could not get no one pregnant because they were sick or something. now that i ve seen them they all have children. think about it and be safe for your self. because life is not too short.

It depends on your relationship. How sure are you of monogamy? Oral sex is still sex. Did he have that with someone else? You can still get a sexually transmitted infection from that. The pill is good for preventing pregnancy, but only when taken correctly. It may still be wise to continue using them until you are completely sure about fidelity and their status of health.

even if you are on the pill it is best to use a condom for safe sex
you can never be to sure when all the stds are around,
but monogamy ...is the best way to go..one partner and one only is the safest.

To reduce the risk of pregnancy, it is wise to use extra forms of contraception. Although you are on BC, the condom will only help you and reduce risk of pregnancy. Good luck. It doesn't hurt to be extra-safe..
