What other non-permanent hair removal techniques work? I've tried shaving with venus and really good shaving cream after soaking in the tub for like half an hour (several times). Do at-home wax strips work? Pain isn't a HUGE deal, but i don't want it to hurt super bad.

Test a small area first to make sure your pits can handle the chemicals in it-if it can go for it -probably the best answer.

Laser hair removal...I had a friend that did it for his neckline (yeah he's a guy) but says he loves not EVER having to shave anymore. Downside...it is expensive.

Nair would hurt. I'm a roadbiker and we shave our legs, and nair stings for me when I use it...could not even imagine...ouch
