ok! yesterday, I told my crush what I felt about him! And today his msn name said that a year has gone by! And then it all came into place....his dad died last year! Should I leave my crush alone because he is probably grieving right now or, should I talk to him about his dad, what should I do?

**Please note: That this guy is VERY shy and he barely talks to me!

**And I did say that I was VERY sorry, first he was unsure about what I was talking about, and then he said it's ok!

Call him, ask him if he would like if he'd like to go somewhere and talk about it or if he'd rather just be left alone. If he goes somewhere with you, then he's opening up to you and you're making progress. Remember to focus on him and only him if you do go support him while he's dealing with this. You can worry about your feelings and making headway with him later on.

just make sure he knows that you are there to talk if he wants to
give him a bit of time and space, and if hes not chatting on msn after a few days send him a email

Well, hon, you described yourself as little more than a stranger to him. The death of his father is personal and monumental, and not something you need to be involved in. When he's forty years old and remembers the first anniversary of his father's death, he does not need to remember that girl who had a crush on him and made it all worse :)

This would be a good time to use your caring and compassionate quilitys. A friend in need, is a friend indeed.
