A few years ago when I had one of those milestone birthdays and was rearranging my life for the good, I decided to face my fears. I took a psychology class at that time and the instructor said something I will never forget "go in the opposite direction fear wants you to go", I felt she was talking to me.
I looked at my fears and went in the opposite direction. My life changed for the better and opened up a whole new world! I am so glad I was able to do this before I became too much older so I could do a great deal instead of laying on my deathbed wishing I would've changed.
Make a list of your fears. Ask yourself why you fear. Go back, try to figure out where those fears came from. Then, go in the opposite direction those fears are pushing you in. Live!

Well, to be honest - i usually dont deal with it well. Like starting a new job- yer all nervous n stuff. I was ( still am) nervous when i run around on my racing tractor -what if it flips over when i take off? What if it blows up n i lose control? What if i flip it when i turn around? What if a wheel comes off? So I suppose its why they call if fear to prepare you.

Narrow your focus to a single small task at a time.
Consider calling your local community mental health clinic and arranging to talk to someone.
