please answer by 9:30. the rock does not break very easily, but I feel certain it is sedimentary. if it were metamorphic, the rock's pebbles wouldn't show so easily. please oh please don't answer if you don't know. but if you do, know you may make a poor innocent soul very happy. thanks!

dairydahm is right! It's conglomerate. Sedimentary (so you were right, too) rocks can contain pebbles of similar or varying sizes, depending where it formed. Below are some sites that have pics of conglomerates for you to check--if you don't believe us. (I'm a geology teacher, by the way. (-; )
