What is up with Martin Gerber?? Why is he so crappy this season.

Some people say that his sickness in the Cup, was really something more long term. Maybe the Canes signing Grahame,
and having Ward as their #1, really said a lot more.

He was never that great to begin with. The Canes won the Cup with Ward in net not Gerber.

he wasn't that good with the Canes last season they were just scoring for him, but then he wasn't good in the playoffs in the first round vs my Habs and got pulled and Ward took over. Ottawa problem is Alfredsson he should of been moved in the off-season and they should of kept Chara, but when Emery comes back from injury he will become #1 goalie for Ottawa and the Sens will start to look better.

It was a bad trade, I think that gerber only came to Ottawa because of the money not because he wanted to play here

Dude, he always has been crappy. And when some 22-year-old punk takes your starting job away from you in the playoffs, your confidence will be shattered too.

Because he was never good in the first place. That great season with Carolina was fluke.
