I'm not sure what teaching and behavioral problems have to do with education. In fact what problems are you referring to in the academic world? I would remove the current fad of blaming teachers for the high turn out of
poor performing students. Blame must be shouldered by
everyone starting with the students themselves. The lazy students on here trying to get others to do their homework for them. Students MUST take responsibility
for their own thinking and learning. Teachers can teach but if students refuse to learn then there is no force known
to man to make them learn. Parents must shoulder the blame when their children become behavioral problems,
refuse to do their homework or refuse to learn in the classroom. The government must place more importance
on education by getting behind education. Investing in
the schools in this nation, and make teaching a respected
job instead using teachers as scapegoats for a system
that doesn't work. The government MUST pump more money into education instead of cutting funds and
giving education lip service during election years. This is the only way to meet academic goals and standards.

I would first change the charter of our Human Services organization from intervention a more proactive position, and place teams of those workers at every school.
Second, I would increase the pay rate for teachers and extend their days by one hour after the students are gone. Finally, I would insure that students where grouped together by learning styles and make sure that all educators that have been teaching five years or more periodically receive social competency training.

Society has to go back to demanding that parents raise their children to respect other, their homes and them selves.

Teachers cannot teach if the class is a riot, if the parents don't teach, the teachers cannot teach.

Children play basketball, football and computer games, when do the do homework, study, read books, or learn music?

The homes have to be fixed first, otherwise, nothing works.
