2/9 x 27/28

Either multiply the numerators and get 54 and then the denominators and get 252 and then reduce by dividing num and denom. by 2 until it is in lowest terms or divide 18 into both and get 3/14.

Or do it the easiest way by cancelling (dividing the same number into both the num. and the denom. ).

Divide 2 nto 2 and 2 into 28. You get 1 and 14. Then divide 9 into 9 and 9 into 27. You get 1 and 3.

1/1 x 3/14 = 3/14

5.464

here is the working..

lcm = 28

28 in 2 =14, 14*9 =126
28 in 28 =1, 1*27= 27

126+27 = 153/28

153/28 = 5.464

To multiply fractions you just multiply the numerators to find the new numerator, and then the denominators to find the new denominator. It is totally easy!
