Meaning, should I totally and completely stay focused now (I'm 19, in college) and have minimal fun, so I can get good grades and make a lot of money in the future. Where I can enjoy life in the future and live a great lifestyle.

Don't worry so much about instant gratification no one knows the future but if you loosen up on that you may see the big picture and understand!

I think your focus is not to be on making a lot of money in the future by getting an education, but it is to get educated. That's the first thing I want to clear up.

Making a lot of money is not what life is about. You have your priorities backwards. Change that fast or you will be very unhappy.

Find what you are good at, do it, if you make money great, if you just make enough to pay your bills good. Do something that benefits humanity and money won't matter at all. You'll get your jollies from seeing how you have changed someones life for the better.

Life is not all about money. A great lifestyle is not necessarily a lavish one. That being said, you should do your best to succeed in school because you will have options when you graduate. I would try to enjoy some of what college has to offer it is the only life you get. You don't want to spend it on skid row, but do you really want to spend it trying to earn money to buy stuff you don't need and probably don't have time to enjoy.
