Emmitt obviously wasn't even in the same LEAGUE as Mario Lopez as far as their dancing goes. What the heck is up with that????

it's because Emmitt is more popular nationally than Mario, so the public voted him the winner.
plus, who cares? it's just a stupid TV show.

Emmitt improved more than Mario during the course of the show. Also, Mario was very arrogant and turned lots of people off. After all this was as much a popularity contest as a dancing contest.

Mario was a trained dancer...and a natural. Emmitt worked his way from the bottom all the way to the top. He worked super hard all season to get this trophy. Way to go Emmitt and Cheryl!

I think that when Mario and Katarina didn't follow the rules a couple of times hurt them in the long run. I thought that they might win too but I'm glad the Emmitt and Cheryl won.

I think Emmit deserve the win because he improve every week. Mario is a trained dancer and he should have never been on the show. Emmit was not trained and worst he was a football player. The man danced good and no one can take that from him. Cheryl did a good job with him.

America voted, and he was the better man to them. I know it's not all based on dancing skill, after all, how did Jerry Springer make it as far as he did. I agree, Mario can cut a mean rug, but, America looks at more than that.

Mario obviously knew what he was doing from the beginning. Emmett worked hard for his win and deserved it. That doesn't mean Mario isn't a great dancer, though.

Oh i thinks its awesome that Emmit won. If you noticed the whole entire season, Mario ALWAYS acted like he was better than everyone else in the competition, and so did his partner. You ever notice when they practiced they were always fighting??? . The competition was for fun, and he took it way to serious. Emmit on the other hand, made it fun for himself and the audience. He did not act as though he was the best. CONGRATULATIONS TO EMMIT AND CHERYL

I didnt watch the show but Mario was actually trained as a dancer years ago
I thought that defeats the purpose of the show
