If they're lucky, about $100 a gig, and then they have to split it among the members.
Either play well to get into spendier places or go solo.

It depends on what you do, how long you do it and especially who knows your band. If people will come just to see your band, then you might get 100-300 dollars. If nobody knows you, then use the gig as promotion.
