How to throw a football (American football)?

I am 17, good at basketball, and soccer, but I just can't seem to throw a football. Any help?

throwing a good spiral takes a bit of practice, so dont worry if it takes you awhile. here's how i do it:

grip the ball with whichever hand you use by the end of the laces, with your thumb and index finger near the top of the football while the other fingers line up with the laces.

now here's the tricky part:

to make it spiral, throw it forward while rolling it with the end of your fingertips..and if it wobbles after you throw it, then cut back on the amount of force you use to throw it forward; just do what comes naturally and you should be throwin spirals in no time.

practice with your friends, and ask them the right way to throw a football. You are like my friend e is absolutely terrible at throwing a football I have tried but their is no use with him. You will get the hang of throwing a football just practice. I don't play football and can still throw one pretty good. You don't have to have a arm just show people you can throw a spiral and they will think you are good.

thiis site should help you out, i play quarteback on my high school team and i am also tryin to improve my technique, i saw this while browsing the internet on how to throw an effective spiral and not a "throw it and HOPE/PRAY" spiral

Well, make sure that you line up your fingers with the stiching and when you throw it, you kind of have to twirl it a little I cant explain it.
