hi i'm 15 and i wanted to be a director for about 2 years now, i was wondering if anyone knew how you go about it when you graduate highschool? like i know i plan on going to a film school but deos anyone know what is involved exactly?

um...go to a college with a RTF (Radio, Television, Film) department.
they will point you in the right direction.
Also talk with your high school counselor, they may be able to help you.

They also have schools in New York & London. In California, the school is located at Disney Studios and at Universal Studios. Day and evening classes taught by directors. Good luck! See you at the movies.

Have you made any films yet? That is a good bet, helps you to get the feel of it/what you might like or dislike about directing. Try buying a good MiniDV camcorder, get some friends, film some footage, edit the footage using some editing software and enjoy. If you do enough shots, you may find that you have talent.
